Excellent no nonsense review. Great recap of the music while succinctly capturing the vibe of a Dick's opener.

Excellent review. You put my exact thoughts of the show into words. “Slinky” yep that’s the word for that Ocelot, I knew it was extra something. Perfect description.

Great review. No confusing word salad. Concise, honest, no fluff or filler. Excellent job. IMHO,
Expectations should be high. I have a feeling something special like 2011 or 2017 is coming. It’s like the cicada hatch for the band, they’re almost due for another historical Dicks show.

Being a huge Milan Kundera fan from way back (freshman year of college philosophy course circa 1999) the title certainly grabbed me and for anyone who has read the book and/or understands the concept of Kundera’s masterpiece the opening of this recap does a great job of adopting the book’s thesis and overlaying it on the shoulders of Dicks.
And like the other commenters I felt this was super succinct and no nonsense take on the evening. I would have liked a little more elaboration on the sound and concepts of the big jams, but alas that wasn’t the route the author took. And that’s cool.
Anyway, excellent job with the Kundera - Phish mashup.

"But, “Ether Edge”? Is there ever a right time for the song that sounds like the 80s/90s Christian song “Lord I Lift Your Name on High”? I took a seat to catch my breath and wait for what was next."
Thank you!! I've been telling people this at every opportunity but all I get is blank looks in return.
